The Viking Viscount was built in Norway in 1971 as a stern trawler and completely converted in 1992
to a standby vessel for North Sea operations. A second even more economic propulsion unit, a 450 HP aquamaster, was installed and most of the interior and the complete bridge was reconstructed 
to very high specification, so that the ship makes a very modern impression.

The main engine was overhauled in 1999, aquamaster and CPP propeller were overhauled in Dec.2004. The ship is in very good condition with permanent crew on board doing maintenance work.
Owners have recently decided to go for a larger vessel and therfore decided to sell the Viking Viscount at a price of £ 325.000 Pounds Sterling for a quick sale.
